About Us
Welcome to Love2Learn Tutoring, where fun, stress-free learning with maximum progress is at the heart of what we do. We currently tutor from Year 1 to GCSE Level in all core subject areas, along with 11+ and SATS, including our own 11+ mock exams.

All of our tutors have been teachers within schools, hold full Qualified Teacher Status and are DBS cleared. Between us we have over 60+ years experience and understand the requirements of the current curriculum along with the differing learning styles and needs of a variety of children.

We offer tutoring from different locations across Torbay and Newton Abbot, from our tutors own home classrooms and also the YMCA Education Centre at Goodrington.

We offer 1:1, small group and pair tuition options, as well as online tuition, with all lessons tailored to your child's learning needs!

Tutoring Services
Our Ethos

At Love2Learn we do not set a syllabus for our tutors to follow, as this, to us, is not looking at what the individual child needs. This can also be part of the issue as to why children then start to have gaps in their learning. Sometimes they need to be given more time in order to learn something fully before moving on, and unfortunately, due to the time constraints many schools now have to get through the vast curriculum, this is not always possible. Time, support and clear teaching methods along with a variety of strategies to master areas of difficulty can make a profound difference.
We assess each child as an individual and work with them through the current curriculum for their year group as well as looking back at previous year’s curriculum targets to close any gaps that they may have, to ensure they are building solid foundations for future learning to be understood effectively.
Services
KS1
KS1 tuition is for children in Year 1 or 2. Starting tuition at this age is a great start to the rest of their academic success or a useful tool to close any gaps they may have before starting KS2. We also tutor to help support the Year 2 SATS.
SATS Practise
SATS practise is for children due to take the year 2 or year 6 SATS. This tuition can be started a year before the SATS year or for closing gaps in the year of the SATS year.
KS2
KS2 Tuition starts from Year 3 up to Year 6 and covers core subjects and key skills to ensure children are striving forward in their learning. This also includes Year 5 and 6 SATS support.
Home School Tuition
We offer tuition for children who are home schooled at our classrooms across Torbay. This enables parents who have made the decision to home school to have the option of having a teacher help support with areas such as English, Maths and Reading.
11+

Masterclasses
Love2Learn like to continue to support children in their learning over the Summer holidays and half terms, but also through targeted masterclass sessions specialising in key areas of maths, english and reading.
